Most "golf sim PCs" are gaming PCs with a rack handle bolted on
Running Swing Catalyst and Foresight FX well doesn't require exotic hardware, it requires good hardware, chosen for reliability rather than the lowest price that clears the spec sheet, and installed with the actual room in mind. That's the part most vendors skip.

Enclosed AV cabinets stack heat-generating gear, like UPS units, switches, and transmitters, right below your PC bay. That's a hostile thermal environment, and most off-the-shelf builds ship with air cooling that was never tested for it.

Running two simulator packages at once, plus camera and sensor peripherals, has real published spec requirements. A lot of quotes are built from a generic gaming template, not the software's own documentation.
